Residential Solar Modules Lauren and I installed 3,000 Watts of photovoltaic solar modules to our south-facing roof in November, 2005. The system designed and installed by Meridian Solar and supported by our local municipally-owned forward-thinking utility, Austin Energy. This page includes pictures and details of new solar array.		Rational Energy Network (My Consulting Company) I founded Rational Energy Network in July 2003. We are a consulting firm helping clients take a rational approach to addressing diverse questions in the energy industry. We specialize in technology, energy-efficiency, strategy, and M&A in the energy industry.
Personal Background (brief) I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I have since lived on the East and West Coasts, Europe, and Asia. I married Lauren Ancel in 2002 and we currently make our home in Austin, Texas with our two sons. Our Wedding(updated 10/1/02) Lauren and I were married at the Art Museum in Milwaukee on May 26, 2002 and then honeymooned for two weeks in Kauai.		Enron (not active) My 5 years at Enron have been a whirl-wind adventure. As a Vice-President at Enron Energy Services, I managed a portfolio of investments in energy-saving project. Personally, I had a great experience and plan to eventually post my version of the whole story. Until then, the best account has been the book Conspiracy Of Fools.
